Initially when the news came out that Microsoft (MSFT -0.28%) was potentially interested in playing a role in a Dell (DELL.DL) buyout, Motley Fool tech and telecom analyst Andrew Tonner took a look at the idea to see if it would really fit with Microsoft's aims. In this video, he explores the issue further, and comes out in full support of the idea, suggesting that there could be some very strong synergies with the computer hardware giant, as Microsoft looks to move into some next-generation computing hardware itself (like tablets, for example).
