Some automobiles these days have bigger screens than you have in your living room. The Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model S, for example, has a high-definition 17-inch touchscreen that contains all of the all-electric's entertainment and navigation controls, as well as most of the other functionality normally consigned to knobs and buttons.

One company benefiting heavily from the digital boom in cars is NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA), which has already shipped 2.5 million chips that power these amazing displays and controls. See more in the video below.
