The dollar was mixed Tuesday, a day ahead of the release of minutes of the Federal Reserve's latest policy meeting.
The U.S. currency fell against the euro and rose against the British pound. The euro edged up to $1.3389 from $1.3355 on Monday. The British pound slipped to $1.5423 from $1.5516.
The dollar edged up to 93.44 Japanese yen from 93.40 yen and to 0.9231 Swiss franc from 0.9223 Swiss franc. It rose to 1.0119 Canadian dollar from 1.0071 Canadian dollar.
