Dude, Do You Really Want Dell?

The Blackstone Group is making a big bet bidding on Dell as it looks to go private. Is this a smart move for Blackstone?

The Blackstone Group (BX +0.00%) is bidding heavily on the buyout that will take Dell (DELL +0.00%) private and may even be ahead in the bid of Michael Dell, the company's founder. But with so many headwinds for the maturing PC industry right now, is Blackstone making a good bet? In this video, Motley Fool financials analysts Matt Koppenheffer and David Hanson each give their grades for the buyout bid and tell investors just how good, or how bad, this deal could be for Blackstone.
