Qualcomm earns three bullish research notes from analysts, thanks in part to a strong pipeline of design wins. The company is riding the smartphone wave in more ways than one.

Mobile chip giant Qualcomm (QCOM 3.65%) has now received three bullish research notes from Street analysts. Qualcomm is set to capture more content in Samsung's Galaxy S4, with its chips in more variants. Last year, Qualcomm faced competition from NVIDIA's (NVDA 5.38%) Tegra, but this year, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 seems to be holding its own quite well in current Android devices. Later in the year, Apple (AAPL 4.08%) will give Qualcomm a baseband boost in the new iPhone.

In the video below, Fool contributor Evan Niu, CFA, explains why investors should be bullish on Qualcomm.
