Will this give Wal-Mart a clear advantage? Probably not, Austin says, as customer demographics and buying habits are fairly different between the two companies and Wal-Mart continues to have the brick-and-mortar overhead that Amazon doesn't. While Wal-Mart has matched services Amazon offers, Wal-Mart hasn't scored a decisive victory.
