EPS came in at -$0.03. The 13 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted -$0.06 per share. Non-GAAP EPS were -$0.03 for Q1 versus -$0.10 per share for the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS were -$0.09 for Q1 against -$0.33 per share for the prior-year quarter.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 31.4%, 370 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -2.6%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -4.6%, 800 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $8.42 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is -$0.04.
