Since the precipitous fall that precious metals took in mid-April, there have been various market shifts that may foretell of important changes. While the SPDR Gold Trust (NYSEMKT:GLD) has outperformed the iShares Silver Trust (NYSEMKT:SLV), the Global X Silver Miners (NYSEMKT:SIL) has outperformed the Market Vectors Gold Miners (NYSEMKT:GDX). This apparent disconnection has the potential to reverse in the near term and create some interesting opportunities.
