EPS came in at $4.61. The five earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $4.87 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $4.61 for Q2 were 1.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $4.69 per share. GAAP EPS of $4.81 for Q2 were 17% higher than the prior-year quarter's $4.12 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 29.0%, 100 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 15.9%, 40 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.0%, 160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $606.5 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $4.73.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.32 billion. The average EPS estimate is $18.22.
