Liquor distributor Beam (BEAM +0.00%) has decided to maintain its quarterly dividend. The payment for this quarter will be $0.225 per share of common stock. This is the same amount the company has paid since February, when Beam raised its payout by more than 9% from $0.205 a share.
Beam will make the amount payable on Sept. 3 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 14. Annualized, this payout comes to $0.90 per share. As of market close on July 31, Beam's price per share was $64.99, which means its current yield is 1.3%.
