Insperity's (NSP +1.66%) board of directors this week declared a quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share. This is the same amount the human resource solutions provider has paid its investors since June 2012, after raising its amount 13% from $0.15.
The company's latest dividend will be paid on Sept. 27 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 6. The annualized amount for Insperity's dividend comes to $0.68 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Aug. 20, the company's stock was trading at $33.30 , which means its current dividend yield is approximately 2%. The company has seen its stock price rise from $32.56 to $33.30, a 2.2% increase, since the beginning of 2013.
