The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI +0.73%) has had a great year so far in 2013, returning 19.1% to investors. What's a little surprising are the companies that have led the way for the Dow.
Boeing (BA +1.34%) leads by a mile with a 61% jump, even though its flagship 787 Dreamliner was grounded earlier this year. United Technologies (UTX 0.02%) has shrugged off lower military spending to gain 36.5%, and United Health (UNH 1.86%) has jumped 35% as investors become less worried about the impact of Obamacare on earnings, even seeing it as a strength in some cases.
