Earlier this week, Burger King Worldwide launched the latest in French fry technology at its Burger King stores, by introducing "Satisfries" -- crinkle fries dipped in a special batter that absorbs less bad-for-you oil than regular fries.

Designed to appeal to health-conscious fast-food customers who want to feel better about scarfing down an entire order of fries during a single stoplight cycle, Satisfries contain fewer calories and 40% less fat than McDonald's French fries.

Sounds great, right? So did these three healthy (and oddly pineapple-centric) menu items when they were first introduced. Dayana Yochim and Alison Southwick resurrect a few historically epic healthy-fast-food fails.
