Schlumberger and Core Laboratories have been outperforming Halliburton and Baker Hughes for the past several quarters. Will that trend continue?

Earnings season for the energy sector kicks off this week with Schlumberger (SLB 3.45%) leading the way on Friday morning, before the market opens. Analysts looking into their crystal balls see Schlumberger as well as Halliburton (HAL 2.47%) and Baker Hughes (BHI) all having extremely good quarters. One company our Foolish contributors are watching, though, is Core Laboratories (CLB 3.34%)
