3-D Systems president and CEO Avi Reichental says consolidation has served his company well, and that there is more to come.

One of the bearish arguments against 3D Systems (DDD -2.82%) is the huge number of acquisitions it has undertaken -- 50 in the past three years. There are always worries that acquired companies may not be integrated smoothly, leading to inefficiencies in operations and possibly a writedown of the large amount of goodwill on the balance sheet.

3-D Systems President and CEO Avi Reichental is not worried at all, however. In this second of a multipart video from the floor of the 2014 International CES, Avi tells Motley Fool analyst Rex Moore that 3D Systems, and the industry as a whole, will continue to consolidate. He points to some of the new products his company has recently introduced as evidence the strategy is working.
