In Tuesday's edition of Motley Fool's Stock of the Day, Motley Fool analyst Jason Moser and host Matt Trogdon discussed Tile Shop's (TTS 2.33%) tough quarter. The home improvement company missed expectations with earnings released after hours on Monday and was down over 10% in early trading Tuesday.
Jason notes that it's been a tough year for many housing-related stocks, including Tile Shop, Lumber Liquidators (LL +0.00%), and The Container Store (TCS +0.00%). "They're all seeing a very difficult environment," Jason says. "And it's because we're seeing sort of a volatile housing recovery."
Jason is lukewarm on Tile Shop as a stock he'd buy shares of today. "If you're looking to buy a few shares, maybe it's worth a look today or tomorrow," he said. "But don't back up the truck on this dip." To find out more, check out the video below.
