It operates through the following segments: Rig Technologies, Wellbore Technologies, and Completion and Production Solutions. The Rig Technologies segment focuses on the engineering, manufacturing, and support of advanced drilling equipment packages and related capital equipment for oil and gas wells. It also designs, builds, installs, and supports renewable energy equipment and technology, with a focus on wind and solar. The Wellbore Technologies segment is involved in the critical technologies, equipment, and services required to maximize customer oil and gas drilling efficiencies and economics. The Completion and Production Solutions segment optimizes the well completion process and production phase of a well’s lifecycle. The company was founded in 1862 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
