Let's get lost in the world of GPS technology this week. You're probably familiar with Garmin (NASDAQ:GRMN). The company with the ambitious holiday marketing campaign commands 55% of the growing market.

I guess those seemingly annoying ads by Garmin and rival TomTom are working. I bought my first Garmin last month. But is innovation a perpetual gift? Companies like Sirius (NASDAQ:SIRI) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) are rolling out in-car entertainment appliances, and isn't it really just a matter of time before Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone comes out with some GPS functionality?

In short, Garmin is on top now, but does it have what it takes to stay there? Not all Fools agree. Alyce Lomax is bullish on the GPS giant, but Chuck Saletta is skeptical about its chances of beating the market in the future.

Two directions. Which one will you choose?
