Brendan Byrnes: So what did you learn from being an entrepreneur? One of the quotes in the book is, "An entrepreneur works for everyone but himself or herself." What do you mean by that?

Ping Fu: I heard a lot of people saying they wanted to start a business because they don't want to work for anyone. My experience taught me that that's so far from the truth because when you're an entrepreneur you have responsibility to everyone who works in that company, as well as all the stakeholders who aren't even in the company. So the last thing you do is work for yourself because your responsibility goes so far beyond yourself, your family and people that you know.
