National Oilwell Varco (NOV 1.45%) this week announced plans to pay investors a quarterly dividend of $0.26 per share.
This is the same amount the oil and gas drilling equipment provider paid last quarter, after it doubled its quarterly payout from $0.13. The latest dividend will be payable Sept. 27 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 13.
Annualized, National Oilwell Varco's dividend pays out $1.04 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Aug. 14, the company was trading at $73.40 per share, which means the company's dividend yields 1.4%.
