Hyundai Motor America is taking a bold step toward improving customer service. The company says it's the first in the auto industry to feature public reviews of its dealers. The service is handled by SureCritic, which verifies that each reviewer is actually a customer.

Though Amazon.com (AMZN -1.64%) has been posting positive, negative, and neutral reviews for years, the Hyundai press release notes this is a "new frontier" for the auto industry. Like the Amazon Verified Purchase, the SureCritic verification lends an air of authenticity to the process, and lessens the chance of shill or fake reviews. Our Motor Money team of John Rosevear and Rex Moore discuss what it means in this video.
