Sanchez Energy and Carrizo Oil & Gas may not be household names, but their plans in the Eagle Ford may give investors a chance to get in on some late bloomers in America's Energy boom.

As lucrative as EOG Resources (EOG -0.90%) stock may be because of its growth, there are some investors who would shy away because of the price and fears that they missed the boat on America's energy boom. Fortunately, Carrizo Oil & Gas (CRZO) and Sanchez Energy (NYSE: SN) may be the opportunity for investors who may have missed out in the early days of the oil and gas boom.

The best part about these two companies is that they both have great acreage positions in the oily part of the Eagle Ford Shale. With ambitious plans to grow production there in 2014 and make them the cornerstone of the company's future, both Sanchez and Carrizo could quite possibly be the fast-growing energy stocks of 2014.
