At this point, Apple's (AAPL 0.64%) larger, elusive iPad -- dubbed the iPad Pro -- feels more like Bigfoot than a technological device. Many claim that it exists, but so far they've failed to produce any concrete evidence.

Last week, 9to5Mac writer, Mark Gurman, published another sighting, based on sources the author spoke with. But this time there are several good reasons why Bigfoot, er, the iPad Pro might actually emerge.

Gurman noted the large 7,000-seat auditorium Apple chose for this event, along with his sources saying that the event will include an "unprecedented" amount of product introductions. But there are more important factors than these contributing to the possible iPad Pro launch: as in, falling iPad sales and increasing demand for all-in-one devices.
