General Motors and Adapting to Tariffs

Tariffs could take a $5 billion bite out of GM's bottom line, but the company still expects to be profitable in 2025.

General Motors (GM 1.41%) will be hit hard by tariffs, there's no doubt about that. But the company is adapting and moving some production to the U.S. On top of that, it's leaning on a strong market share in big trucks and SUVs to keep profits rolling in.
