Apple continues to press forward for integration in automobiles.
Even as General Motors (GM 0.85%) has brought models to market that include a Siri button, Apple (AAPL 1.79%) is continue to press for greater integration between smartphones and autos. Ford (F 1.53%) has long boasted the Sync System from Microsoft (MSFT 0.58%). An investigation of a few recent patents reveals that Apple is charging ahead.
