Apple continues to press forward for integration in automobiles.
Even as General Motors (GM -1.90%) has brought models to market that include a Siri button, Apple (AAPL -0.95%) is continue to press for greater integration between smartphones and autos. Ford (F 0.83%) has long boasted the Sync System from Microsoft (MSFT 2.06%). An investigation of a few recent patents reveals that Apple is charging ahead.
