Raytheon Wins $125 Million in Pentagon Missile Contracts Wednesday

The Department of Defense awarded eight defense contracts Wednesday, worth $7.3 billion in total. Raytheon (RTN) won two of them:

• A $17.2 million delivery order instructing the defense contractor to supply the government of Australia with 28 LAU-115D/A missile launchers and 30 LAU-116-B/A missile launchers, and to supply the U.S. Navy with a further 34 LAU-116-B/A missile launchers. These launchers are installed on F/A-18E/F fighter jets and EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft. Delivery is due September 2016.
• A $107.9 million contract modification funding unspecified work on Raytheon's Patriot missile system for the Army. This contract will run through July 31.
