Taser International (AXON 2.64%) continues its banner sales month. On Tuesday, Taser announced a series of new sales contracts for its X2 and X26 model stunguns to police departments in Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, and Texas.

Contracts for more significant sales volumes were inked with four parties in particular, as:

  • The U.S. Army ordered another 500 of Taser's X26 "Conducted Electrical Weapons"
  • The New Orleans Police Department ordered 400 Taser X26P Weapons, and 400 TASER CAM HD recorders
  • The New York State Police ordered 334 X26Ps
  • An unnamed international buyer purchased 12,000 Smart cartridge refills.

Financial terms of the sales were not disclosed, but at advertised list prices, the X26s alone should add in excess of $1.3 million to Taser's Q1 earnings -- with the HD recorders and cartridges, perhaps a bit more.

Taser shares, however, are seeing no gains at all, declining 0.1% in early trading to hover around $8.01.
