Engineering and design firm CB&I (CBI) has been awarded an Environmental Protection Agency contract worth $160 million for remediation services in a region that includes Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii, tribal nations, and U.S. territories in the Pacific Ocean, the company announced today.

Chip Ray, president of CB&I government solutions operating group, was quoted as saying: "CB&I has long supported U.S. government programs and initiatives to clean and restore our nation's most contaminated sites. This award underscores our environmental expertise and ability to efficiently execute complex remediation projects."

CB&I will be hired to complete task orders in EPA's Region 9.
