2015 was a big year for movies, with more films crossing the $1 billion mark then ever before and the highest global box office gross in history. Disney (NYSE:DIS), Fox (NASDAQ:FOX), Viacom (NASDAQ:VIA), Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), and Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE:LGF-A) all earned spots on the list of the year's 10 highest-grossing movies, but two companies dominated multiplexes in 2015, and one is probably not whom you expect.
