Nvidia (NVDA -0.98%) was the largest company in the technology sector and overall in July 2026. Long-time rivals Apple (AAPL +0.36%) and Microsoft (MSFT -0.97%) ranked second and third, respectively. The biggest tech companies by market cap span a range of industries, including consumer electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, cloud computing, and e-commerce.
